Image acquisition using additional techniques like HDR, panorama stitching, or virtual tours (including 360-degree imaging), long exposure, and underwater photography.

Detail and Scale

Imaging at smaller scales, where detail, resolution and acquisition technique become central to the resulting image. From technical macrophotography suitable for applications demanding the highest resolution and details in structures that are very challenging to image, through imaging live insects and other invertebrates and plants, to state-of-the-art optical microscopy utilizing techniques like dark field, DIC, and other contrasting methods, or even superresolution and high-speed confocal microscopy of living specimens revealing the very secrets of life.
